A short drive from where we were staying in Alfriston, is Charleston Farmhouse, which was the home of Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, and other members of the Bloomsbury set, some of the 20th Century’s pioneering artists, writers, and thinkers.Inside, almost every available surface has been painted by one or other of the group.Parts of the garden, are almost as ornate.Joe in the garden.
